A lone coder, a lot of distraction, learning xna, oop and c#.. Ouch!

General update for multiple projects.. & praise for my new artist ;)

Ok.. the good stuff first! After sitting on The 10 Gallon Squiggle for 6+ months now without "useable" art, I finally found an eager artist to help me out! Daniel posted on the XNA forums and really surprised and shocked me by already having started working on models for the game within 24 hours and sending me a couple shots of the progress. I have to say thanks to him and Im impressed. Most of the time you get no response, or they start and you never can contact em again, but this guy has impressed me so far and I look forward to seeing what he comes up with! The pressure's on now! heh

Kollectiv 360 is coming along and will be re-released to playtest shortly. Menu's have been enlarged and reorganized, misc text has increased in size, and I'm working on a tutorial mode.

Cannon #12 is next on the drawing board. I'm probably not going to do an all out tutorial for it. It doesnt need it and for what is going to be an 80 point game, well. I'm just not sure it warrants it.

After those, I will move on to Squiggle and Suu-ey! and get those ready ..

Suu-ey is actually ~80% complete but in two separate projects right now.. One with the movement and collisions I wanted, the other with the gameplay. Gotta merge those and build the menu's etc. If you tell me you need a tutorial for Suu-ey! though, I'm going to SCREAM!!!

Squiggle will take a bit more work and time as its not actually done. I have the base framework and background objects along with player movement in.. but I still need to work on making my particle system behave properly.. Mostly making the emitters move right.. wow.. just figured out how to do that in my head.. DUH.. Once I get that all working, and of course control moved from keyboard to gamepad, then will come work on the next part, adding the finish line and obstacles.. for 1 player mode. Squiggle will have a 2 player local mode.. not sure about any more than that.. and probably wont have any Live racing right now.. I dont know networking. simple as that. But you never know..
