Cannon #12
We came in peace.. They tried to slurp us!

Think back to the good old days of simple but fun gameplay.. back before nintendo.. think atari.. Yars revenge was always kind of a fun game that I spent hours on as a kid.. So i got bored one day and began to recreate it. This is going to be the result.

Definately a yars clone, but it has its own added gameplay elements to give it more of a challenge..

Ver: 0.927 Jul 2009Finished up with intro and closing screens.
Added all bosses.
Got difficulty implemented.
Anything else I didnt note in the last month.. oops.

Ver: 0.826 Jun 2009Began adding particle system framework into game.
Fixed save / load routines for xbox high scores.
High scores table shared across all players that log in.
Added in explosions for cannon and shield

Player Options now reset when player ship is reset.
Bullets all now disappear on level fadeout.
Timer tracking time player was last hit now resets properly.
Added default high score name using tag of signed in gamer

Got music playing properly in game. Need to work on fade-outs and fade-ins.

ID'd bug in high scores for 360 that causes crash.
Adjusted all entities to take into account titlesafearea.
PC Ver will have no titlesafearea.
Reworked main menu screen & display.
Removed mouse code from input wrapper. Don't need it.
